Elmore County Republicans Hold Annual Scholarship Dinner

Wetumpka, AL – March 11, 2025 – The Elmore County Republicans hosted their annual scholarship dinner at the Wetumpka Civic Center, celebrating the achievements of local students and highlighting the county’s political accomplishments over the past year.

The evening featured the presentation of scholarships to the top three finalists out of nearly 20 applicants. Sophie Creamer took first place, followed by Gracie Arnold in second place and Price Goggans in third. Each student was awarded scholarship funds to support their academic endeavors.

Chairman Bill Lewis addressed the attendees, providing a recap of the Elmore County Republicans’ efforts throughout the past year. He noted the county’s standout achievement of leading the state in voter turnout during the 2024 presidential election, a testament to the community's civic engagement and dedication.

Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall served as the keynote speaker, delivering remarks on the importance of political involvement and the role of young leaders in shaping the future. Attendees were encouraged to stay engaged with local Republican efforts by joining the Elmore County Republicans, ensuring they remain informed about ongoing initiatives and community updates.
